Auckland South Chapter

Our Chapter Leader is: Eoin Lawless.
I believe we are all sinners in need of a Saviour. I believe I am saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. God has blessed me with a wonderful wife, two awesome sons and a Triumph motorcycle. I joined CMA approximately 2011 and I love the fellowship of all my CMA brothers and sisters.

Our Secretary is: Joanne Lawless.
I am passionate about helping people be the best they can be. I’ve had a reasonable amount of life experience and I believe in what CMA does because it follows my personal belief about helping people as much as possible. I’m a member of Drury Presbyterian Church. I’ve been riding motorbikes since I was just a wee whippersnapper on the family farm. My first bike was called the Mountain Goat Farm Bike. From that I progressed to a Yamaha RD250. I’m married to Eoin, have two sons and two cats. Matthew, my younger son now rides too, he’s on a Suzuki GN250. I’m now riding a Triumph Bonneville, which I’m really enjoying…. Eoin has told me that this is my last bike!!!

Our Treasurer is: Gary Farr.
Gary was a late starter to motorcycling, starting with social trail riding and later moving to road riding. Gary started riding with CMA after setting the personal goal of getting out of town on the bike at least once a month. To him CMA provides an opportunity to journey through life sharing a common interest with a group of people with a wide range of life and God experiences.

Our Road Captain is: Richard FInlay.
I joined CMA in 2006 after wanting to find a way to combine my faith and love for motorcycles. I’ve always been a sport bike rider and keep my skills up by doing battle with Auckland traffic each day for my commute. My favourite roads are often described (unkindly!) by others as ‘goat tracks’ but I just love the thrill of winding through corners. Having learnt to ride with less-than-organised groups, I have a passion for trying to make our rides fun and safe without anyone getting lost! I firmly believe out club rides are a huge avenue for God to move not just in the lives of people we meet but in the life of each CMA member that comes along as well.
